Featuring McGL’s own Caroline Gray and Ryan Barry: what an inspiration for our dancers!
Save the Date: the final feis before the World Championships
Our annual open feis will be taking place on the weekend of the 12th and 13th of March, 2016 at Welling School (click for a google map).
With both the Great Britain and All Ireland Championships taking place later this month, we welcome our friends from the Goggin-Carroll School of Dance in Toronto, Canada. These dancers will be working hard alongside McGL dancers at workshops.
Thank you to all who attended our free workshop in Essex this weekend. It was great to see so many dancers of all levels showing their enthusiasm! We hope you enjoyed it despite the HARD work!
Congratulations to all our dancers who competed at the Kelley O’Boyle Feis this weekend. A great feis with some great results, especially our champions:
Gavina Zuccharello (U16 Girls) and Niall Forrest (U19 Men)
Congratulations also to Hannah McKay, who won her Prelim Championship!
Finally, here is a cute picture of some great Feis Friends!
Watch out for McGL’s new T-shirts and shoe bags at up and coming competitions.
Our new gear will be distributed in class over the next couple of weeks, once all registrations have been collected.
McGahan Lees are proud to announce the opening of classes in both Prague and Warsaw, formerly run by The Delaney Academy.
Classes will be lead by McGL TCRG Leanne Gray and will operate under the RTME European guidelines.
To date, the dancers in Prague and Warsaw have won numerous titles at competitions in Mainland Europe, qualified to dance at the World Championships and achieved world medal places.
