About Our Displays
If you are organising an event and would like further details, use our contact form to email us.
Apart from doing around 12 or 14 hours a week in classes, our championship level dancers give displays all over the south-east of England – anywhere from local community centres to large venues in central London.
Public and private displays involve up to 20 dancers (depending on location, time of day, size of venue, etc) and usually last 20 – 30 minutes. The standard is excellent, and always gets a good reception.
For paid-for displays, the organiser pays a fee, agreed in advance, and the dancers may collect donations from the audience afterwards. All money raised goes into our fundraising account and is used for the benefit of our dancers. This includes helping to send dancers to overseas championships, purchasing class costumes and providing extra workshops.
If you are organising an event and would like further details, use our contact form to email us. Apart from making sure that the venue is both suitable and appropriate for the dancers, we’re very flexible.
Television
You may have seen a few McGahan Lees dancers on Britain’s Got Talent some time back, but you might be forgiven for not recognising them! The girls were providing support for “The Irish Leprechaun” (Jimmy Forde), as The Rainbow Dancers. Let’s just say their appearance was slightly different from their usual competition outfits!
McGahan Lees dancers have also proved a great success appearing on prime-time television, on shows such as Big Brother and I’m a Celebrity, Get Me Out of Here.
01. Britain’s Got Talent – nailed
02. I’m a Celebrity – nailed
03. Big Brother – nailed
04. TOWIE!
Well and truly nailed!

The Excel Centre, London
The McGahan Lees Troupe recently performed at a major biomedical conference at the Excel Centre in London, to rapturous applause. The only video we could get was from a smartphone, taken from a distance, side-stage, but it gives an idea of a McGL exhibition.
St. Patrick’s Day Festival, Trafalgar Square, March 2018
This year we had the honour of entertaining the crowd at London’s St. Patrick’s Day Festival in Trafalgar Square!
